Who We Are

CorActive’s mission is to carry on with respect and loyalty to Joseph Pilates’ vision: physical and mental well-being.

Our goal is to build strong and pain-free bodies by enforcing your muscular system using the proper movement patterns, as well as creating a high-quality life and reducing your anxiety, pressure, and stress.

In a busy and modern industry where everything is about marketing and sales, we choose to stay original and authentic by teaching the Authentic Pilates Method in small group classes (6-8ppl), or in more Private appointments using the traditional Pilates equipment (Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector).

We create experiences because we integrate techniques based on our core values, which include a commitment to results, passion for improvement and of course, customer satisfaction.

Anastasia, Founder and Director

"My happiness is determined by two important core values I have in life: growth and love. Growth to become better, learn and improve every day in every aspect of my life, and love to give and share. Pilates is what gives me the ultimate fulfilment by growing every day as an instructor and allowing me to help people have a better quality of life.”

Anastasia’s passion for Pilates started ten years ago, after obtaining an injury and participating in the Greek National Kick Boxing Team competition. She began Pilates as a rehab training, and afterwards, it became a part of her life.

In 2014, she graduated as a Personal & Weight Trainer from AF Studies Fitness in Greece. She started her Pilates Studies with Ekaterina Vasilenko and participated in various Pilates workshops for Pilates rehab, Pregnancy, Seniors, and posture correcting seminars.

In 2018, she continued her Pilates next to Michael King and graduated with the Pilates Studio Diploma. In 2019 she moved to Australia and decided to study further with BASI Pilates Academy to be officially certified as a BASI Pilates Instructor.

Working with different Pilates mentors, inspired by different Pilates elder teachers’ approaches, the deep Pilates history research and her consistent training for the human body, allowed her to acknowledge Pilates method and the human body in depth.

One of her key strengths is her ability to understand the different types of bodies and accommodate her clients’ needs in one-on-one or group classes. One of her strongest beliefs is that she will never stop learning and growing to provide the best quality service to her clients and continue respecting Joseph Pilates’ vision.

Jaclyn, Pilates Instructor

Jac worked as a biomedical scientist and technical support specialist in the Pathology world for 20 years when she decided she wanted to work more directly with people to help them move and feel better. So, she signed up to do her Pilates teacher training with Polestar, attaining her Cert IV in Matwork Instruction in 2018 and her Comprehensive Diploma in 2020.

Being a scientist at heart, what really gets her excited is the precision and the mental challenge that comes with even the most seemingly simple of Pilates exercises. Sometimes, the tiniest tweak or an added prop can change an exercise from “where should I be feeling this?” to “okay, wow, that’s tough!” And while your glutes are on fire from scooters and you’re throwing her some side-eye, she’ll probably throw some educational titbits or Pilates trivia your way.

Jac loves seeing her clients get stronger, move more freely, and “age well”.

Ria, Pilates & Yoga Instructor

Ria’s journey started a couple of years ago when she was trained as Yoga Instructor in Bali. She was amazed by the mind-body-spirit connection and how the proper way of exercising creates changes in everyday life. Since then she has not stopped learning and growing, and her passion has become to help other people being the best version of themselves.

After the Yoga Teacher Training she decided that she wanted to cultivate a  greater understanding of the human body and the proper way of movement so she continued her fitness career by discovering Pilates.

One of her key strengths is that she combines her two loves: Yoga and Pilates in order to achieve the best results based on her clients’ individual goals.

Whether you meet Ria on a Pilates session or in a yoga class, she will make sure she gets the best out of you in 50 minutes and you will feel being challenged in a positive way!

  • Unfortunately we have been asked this question very often lately. Because Reformer is one of the most popular Pilates equipent these days, that does not mean it is the best. Reformer is as good as the rest of the equipment all made by the same man for the same method.

We have Reformers in the studio but we also have Cadillac,Wunda Chair,Spine Corrector and Barrel.

So if you have only tried Reformer, you should try the rest as well so you have a complete idea of what the Original Pilates Method is.
